The TRTP™ Process

It is a combination of Gestalt, Mindfulness, Ego-state Therapy, Choice Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Parts Therapy, Emotion-focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dream Rehearsal Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Anxiety, depression, anger, OCD, phobias and addictions for example are usually trauma related. Events from one’s childhood have not been able to be coded in the brain’s warehouse of events from the short term to the long-term memory.

For trauma to be resolved, 2 things need to happen (stated by van der Kolk, Levine and other trauma experts)

  1. The person must be moved to an empowered position in regard to the trauma and
  2. The body and the mind must know that the event / events are over.
