How do I make an appointment?

Use the Contact button on this website or email Rachael at info@mindbodyresolutions.com.au Rachael will get back to you within 24 hours or the next business day to organise a face-to-face complimentary initial zoom appointment. At this appointment, Rachael will explain the process(es) in full so you will feel well informed when booking your sessions.

What does a session cost?

Email Rachael at info@mindbodyresolutions.com.au and she will organise a zoom meeting with you free of charge to explain the fees and give you a chance to ask your questions. It is important that you feel that the service that you choose, is the right fit for you, and come time for your sessions, together, we can get straight into therapy.

How long does a session go for?

Each session roughly goes for 2 hours. Allow 2-3 hours and about an hour afterwards for successful integration of the conscious and subconscious minds. If you go back into a work meeting straight away for example, or a stressful moment with your children, the outcome can be adversely affected. Rachael will often advise you to take a stroll outside in nature or do something nice for yourself afterwards. For some people that could look like treating themselves to a coffee and cake at the local coffee shop. Whatever is a calming time for you -Rachael will suggest for you to do that afterwards!

How many sessions will I need?

The trauma therapy is a 3-4 session program. Quit Smoking and Gastric Band Surgery are both 2 session programs.

Do I need a referral to come & see you?

No. Whilst this type of business is largely referral based, we do not need a GP/Psychologist referral. Instead, the clients usually refer their friends and family due to the outstanding result they have had.

What happens if I miss my appointment?

If extenuating circumstances have arisen and payment has been made, Rachael can reorganise the scheduled session with you, However, it is not advised that appointment dates/times be changed for scientific reasons. The booking times that have been organised with you, in terms of number of days apart, sessions are strategically organised for your optimal outcome. Sessions that are too close together or too far apart are not as beneficial. A week apart is ‘usually’ optimal between sessions.

Do you offer phone sessions?

No. Only appointments over zoom and face-to-face is offered at Mind Body Resolutions. Rachael is a thorough practitioner, which means that she needs to be able to see you at all times. If the lighting is not suitable over the zoom appointment, she will ask you to fix this. Rachael’s experience, knowledge and intuition will keep you safe at all times, but she needs to be able to see you at all times.

What do I need to do to prepare for my sessions?

Essentially nothing. However, to get the most out of your therapy session, Rachael suggests to carve out some time (30-60 minutes is ideal) beforehand, to adopt a calm state of mind. If you meditate or do deep breathing etc, this is a fantastic preparation exercise, but not necessarily needed.

Do you have certification?

Rachael Doolan has extensive NLP and Hypnotherapy certification with the Phil Parker Institute (UK); The Richard’s Trauma Process (Australia); The American Board of Hypnotherapy (US); & IICT member, which can be provided by, at request.

Is Mind Body Resolutions a registered business?

FAQ’s On TRTP™ Therapy

Is a TRTP™ practitioner the same as a psychologist or counsellor?

No. TRTP™ is an eclectic mix of therapies utilising cutting edge technology in a carefully chosen combination of modalities. TRTP™ is NOT talk therapy, as we don’t talk about your trauma. We just eliminate it once and for all from the subconscious mind where it lives.

How do I know if I am the right candidate for TRTP™?

You won’t necessarily know if you are the right candidate for TRTP™, but Rachael will. She will assess you on your initial appointment. Many factors are taken into consideration and Rachael does not take on every client.

How long does it take to treat Trauma?

It depends on the modality. Talk therapy and other forms of trauma therapy can take months or years. Think of that type and style of mental health therapy like a house renovation. However, TRTP™ is akin to a full knock-down and re-build done in 3-4 sessions. If that house build analogy doesn’t quite make sense to you, think perhaps of a factory reset on your mobile phone. Rachael has not found anything quite as quick and thorough as TRTP™.

Is TRTP™ and hypnotherapy suitable for children?

Yes. A modified program can most certainly be achieved for children, with incredible results, including those on the autism spectrum. However, we recommend treating the children’s caregivers also, for optimal results.

I feel that I am highly stressed, can you help with this?

Not only can Rachael help with this, she specialises in acute and chronic stress disorders. When the triggers of the past are ceased, and your thoughts, feelings and beliefs are all running congruently, without trauma in the mix, you can expect to eliminate much of the stress from your life using the TRTP™ process. You will also get taught the process to be able to use for the rest of your life to eliminate new stressors that will pop up in your future.

Is there any proof that TRTP™ works?

There sure is. An audit of 715 TRTP™ clients were audited on their DASS-21 mental health scores. Results were the following: 89% of clients with extremely severe anxiety went to normal. 92% of clients with extremely severe depression went to normal and 96% of client’s with extremely severe stress went to normal. Do you treat PTSD and Complex-PTSD?

Yes. Not only is Rachael fully qualified to be able to treat clients with these debilitating conditions, Rachael suffered C-PTSD herself for several decades and is well versed in the symptoms and treatment required to be permanently rid of these and other trauma-based symptoms. Anxiety, Depression, OCD, PTSD and C-PTSD etc. are only symptoms. Symptoms can be eliminated permanently. You DO NOT have to be stuck for much longer.

FAQ’s On Hypnotherapy

What is NLP and Hypnotherapy?

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is the subconscious patterning of our brains caused by learned experiences which manifest as behavioural patterns. Hypnotherapy is the process of changing those subconscious patterns. This is done by by-passing the pre-frontal cortex, and simply engaging in lower brain wave states. In this relaxed state of being, successful re-programming can be achieved. Altering these pathways in the brain is key to making permanent and positive changes at the subconscious level.

Can anyone be hypnotised?

No. Whilst most people can be hypnotised, there are a small percentage of people who can’t. Generally speaking, if you don’t feel that you can be hypnotised, or this has been your experience, it will most likely be because you don’t want to be hypnotised and your conscious mind has thwarted the process. Rachael will assess if you are a hypnotic candidate at your initial appointment.

Will I be asleep during the hypnosis?

No. In an NLP/Hypnotherapy session, you will always be in total control – being able to both hear and respond at all times. You will decide the depth of trance that is right for you. If you fall asleep, Rachael will gently wake you up. There is no such thing as “going under” in clinical hypnotherapy.

Is Hypnotherapy safe?

Yes! We are naturally in a state of partial hypnosis, daily. For instance, when you are driving to work yet not recalling the drive, passing several exits on the highway without realising, playing video games, watching TV and Netflix etc. These experiences are no different to being in a partial trance-like state. In fact, it has been said that from the ages of 0-7, children’s brains are in a state of constant hypnosis.

Will I be made to talk about something I don't want to?

Absolutely not. Engaging in the correct neurology and linguistics is something Rachael is quite passionate about. There is very little talking involved on your part, and if you find yourself going down a “verbally unhelpful track”, Rachael will politely and gently stop you. Not that what you have to say is not important, but your neurology and successful outcome is Rachael’s top priority.

Is there preparation required for a Quit Smoking or Gastric Band Surgery hypnosis?

Yes there is. Rachael will stipulate what this is, in your 1st session accordingly.

If I am having sessions over zoom, do I have to be alone?

Yes, this is strongly advised. Please find a portion of your house where you will not be interrupted, or even better, that you are home alone. Your conscious and subconscious mind needs to feel safe and secure for optimum results. This is YOUR time to create the rest of your life.
