What Is Trauma?

Trauma does not necessarily need to look like a one-off tragic event, or a war veteran who has served time in combat. It can be a combination of events, resulting is emotional loss and fragility. This can be a loss of control, connection to oneself, connection to another (usually a care giver or partner) and the multitudes of different forms of abuse. This can cause significant disruption to one’s nervous system.

What can trauma look like?
  • Being on guard all the time
  • Craving control
  • Agreeing to things just to keep the peace
  • Seeking constant escapism
  • Feeling responsible for other’s happiness
  • Chronic emptiness
  • Giving in to reckless impulses
  • Numbing your pain in any way that you can
  • Intense coping mechanisms
  • Not feeling safe
  • Anger outbursts
  • & a whole host of physical symptoms from anxiety and depression to blacking out, unable to leave your house and everything in between.

How Can Mind Body Resolutions Help?

Because trauma is an experience of threat, disconnection, disassociation and disempowerment, Rachael is adamant that your safety is her priority. Rachael will carefully guide you through a series of 3-4 sessions to rid you of the trauma that is stored in your brain, body and nervous system. The process is called TRTP™

and is non-retraumatising and a form of non-talk therapy.

At Mind Body Resolutions, we restore:

  • One’s beliefs about oneself
  • Turn off the emotional charge of the past
  • Deal with those that have wronged you
  • Feel safe again within yourself and your place in the world
  • Regain your sense of power and locus of control
  • Line up your vision of your future with both your conscious & subconscious minds, achieving total congruence, possibly for the first time in your life.

Examples Of Trauma
Mind Body Resolutions Resolves:

Anxiety and Depression

Anxiety and Depression are symptoms of unresolved emotional trauma in disguise. In as little as 3 sessions, join the hundreds of clients, who have gotten their lives back.

PTSD & C-PTSD are the result of a nervous system dysregulation due to a specific event/s. When the body and brain know that these events are over and they are safe, PTSD and C-PTSD can, and do resolve.

Grief and Guilt

Time does not heal grief and guilt. Doing the necessary work with a trained trauma therapist is essential. At Mind Body Resolutions, is it standard practice to deal with grief, guilt and generational trauma.

Relationships and Triggers

Be able to identify a toxic person and toxic relationship by the time you are finished with your sessions at Mind Body Resolutions. Eliminate your emotional triggers and reactivity once and for all in a little as 3-4 sessions. Afterwards, relationships flourish or healthily fall away.

Anger and Stress

You will learn the difference between a purposeful & healthy type of anger as opposed to a victim & revengeful type of anger. Stress levels will come back to normal, however, should future stress arise, you will have the skills to deal with it immediately. This will be a life-long skill you will be most grateful to know.

Phobias and Fears

Often phobias and irrational fears develop at significantly stressful periods of time in one’s life. Deal with what happened in that period of your life, the root cause, and often watch the phobias and fears become a thing of the past. Rachael also has a cutting-edge NLP technique to clear these, forever.

I was initially skeptical about the TRTP™ program, but after completing my 3 sessions with Rachael I’m astonished at how quickly it worked, and how transformational it already is in my life. Issues I’ve struggled with for a long time – some of which I wasn’t even aware of until the initial consultation with Rachael – have been silenced to a whisper or lost their power over me completely. I feel like I’ve been able to let go of a heavy bag I’ve been lugging around, and I have a new sense that I am in control of my life, and that my opinions and desires matter. I feel strong and in charge of my own destiny. Anne-Kit (64), Perth WA
